Cricket Update:- BCCI cancel all upcoming Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Series.
Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Series are cancelled by the BCCI on 12 June. This is the bad news for cricket fans. BCCI confirmed that the Indian Team will not go for the upcoming Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe Series.
The BCCI on 12 June, confirmed that the Indian team won’t travel to Sri Lanka due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They also said that their scheduled tour of Zimbabwe in August also not be possible for the same reason.
India was scheduled to play three ODIs and three T20 against Sri Lanka from June 24.
The Zimbabwe tour, which included three ODIs was to start on August 22.

The BCCI reiterated that a camp for its contracted players will not happen in the current situation. The BCCI is determined to take steps towards the resumption of International and domestic cricket. But it will not rush into any decision.

In May, Sri Lanka Cricket Board also announced that India’s Visit in June won’t go ahead as per plans.
