Extension of Lockdown – CM KCR advice for PM Modi
The Lockdown imposed across India for 21 days to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic may be extended(lockdown extended). Even as the death toll from coronavirus hit 111 across the country.
The number of COVID-19 infections in the country climbed to 4,281 registering a record jump of 704 cases in 24 hours. Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao has stated that he informed Prime Minister Modi that the extension of lockdown is necessary. KCR, who briefed the media, said the situation is critical and the lockdown is the only way to control the spread of the novel Corona Virus. He said there is no other option as of now as there is no vaccine, medicine to treat the COVID-19. Stressing the importance of life and health, KCR has asked the people to cooperate with the government during the lockdown.
Citing the report of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), CM K Chandrashekar Rao said the report has suggested extending the lockdown till June 3. He said if lockdown is not extended, the number of Corona cases may increase in Telangana. He also said that the CMs of other states are also in touch with the Prime Minister.

- Number of death due to Coronavirus in India.
- Number of Cases to date in India.
- The flow of new COVID-19 cases in India.
- Health of Economy.
- Availability of food item in India.
The government tries to help all peoples. They announce 1.70 Lakh crore package. But is this sufficient for the second lockdown????? ??
